Beschreibung: In the context of inverter-based power grids we are investigating a control problem formulation starting from average-switch models of 3-phase AC/DC inverters. By neglecting the switching harmonics, the converter system is easier to analyze, retains energy conservation properties and can be still seen as passive. In this setting synchronous machine dynamics can be model-matched, giving rise to a consensus-type problem around the inverters' DC-link voltage. Your task will be to focus on the nonlinear system properties and find control laws that yield useful practical applications for grid-tied inverters. Ideally you have some interest in low-level control of power electronics and are familiar with standard nonlinear control tools. We are interested in theoretical aspects but also have available a power electronics experimental test-bench setup consisting of a two-inverter micro-grid. Weitere Informationen |
