Abstract: Peyman Mohajerin Esfahani, Tobias Sutter and John Lygeros, the authors of the paper “Performance Bounds for the Scenario Approach and an Extension to a Class of Non-Convex Programs,” IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Vol. 60, No. 1, January 2015”, have been selected as the winners of the 2016 George S. Axelby Outstanding Paper Award from the IEEE Control Systems Society, an award that recognizes the best paper published in the past two years in the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control.
