Abstract: Peyman Mohajerin Esfahani has been selected as one of the three finalists for the ICCOPT 2016 Best Paper Prize for the paper "Data-driven Distributionally Robust Optimization Using the Wasserstein Metric: Performance Guarantees and Tractable Reformulations" (co-authored with Daniel Kuhn). The finalists have been invited to give a plenary talk at the ICCOPT 2016, the fifth International Conference on Continuous Optimization in Tokyo, Japan.
