IfA Autonomous Sailing Team: Winner of the WRSC 2015! | |

Abstract: The IfA Autonomous Sailing Team is joyfully proud to announce that our Aeolus is the winner of World Robotic Sailing Competition 2015 (Aland island, Finland). We are glad to have performed and scored almost perfectly in all tasks (station keeping, area scanning, triangular course, fleet race). In particular, our final score is superior also to the ones of bigger sailboats (that is, with bigger and better sails), whose research teams (in marine robotics) are experience- and hardware-wise well prepared.
