Alberto Bemporad and Manfred Morari win the 2014 IFAC High Impact Paper Award | |

Abstract: In 2009 the Council of IFAC approved the institution of a major new IFAC award called the High Impact Paper Award. This award acknowledges once every three years the impact of a paper published in any of the official IFAC journals on the broad areas of Automatic Control theory and application. The Council of IFAC has voted to award the paper “Control of systems integrating logic, dynamics and constraints” by A. Bemporad and M. Morari, published in the IFAC Journal Automatica, Vol. 35, pp. 407-427, 1999. This distinction will be announced in the IFAC Newsletter and on the IFAC website. The 2014 High Impact Paper Award will be presented by the President of IFAC at the opening ceremony of the IFAC World Congress in Cape Town on 24 August 2014. |
