Abstract:

This is a one week (2 credit) block course on the principles of Adaptive Control.

Course outline:

The course will consist of lectures and exercise sessions. The topics to be covered are:

    2. Passivity-based adaptive control
  2. Certainty equivalence adaptive control
    1. Extremum seeking control
    2. Identification-based control (ideal case)
    3. Adaptive predictive control
  3. Robust adaptive control
    1. Nonlinear dynamics
    2. Theory of robust adaptive control systems
    3. Practical design modifications.
  4. Student presentations
