Abstract: Prof. Manfred Morari wins the 2002 CAST Division Award given by the Computing and Systems Technology Division of the AIChE for his pioneering contributions to the theory and applications of hybrid systems analysis and control, and his intellectual and professional leadership in Process Systems Engineering at large. The award is sponsored by The Dow Chemical Company & Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation.
